ISTANBUL, Turkey (Enmaeya News) — The UNDP's Istanbul Innovation Action Days (IIAD) will be held in Turkey on March 25-26, 2025, marking its 10th anniversary. Since its inception in 2015, the IIAD has become the flagship event for the development world, focusing on building pathways, partnerships, and fostering innovation.

This year’s theme, "Institutional Innovation in an Insecure World," addresses the complex realities of today’s global landscape, including the "polycrises" we face—interconnected political, economic, social, climatic, and technological challenges.

Key themes of the summit will cover a wide range of critical issues, including transversal concerns such as wellbeing, time, care, and happiness; the role of technology in equitable and sustainable institutional innovation; institutional interdependence; and alternative economic and financial models that challenge traditional economic narratives. Additionally, the event will explore the future of accessible generative AI.

Other topics for discussion include the crisis of imagination, blockchain-based digital payments, AI agents, portfolio-based approaches to global governance, environmental value systems, and strategies for promoting sustainable development.

The event will feature more than twenty workshops, thirty prominent speakers, and over 200 participants, providing a rich platform for dialogue and action.
